About the 2025 US Naturalization Civics Test

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) administers a civics test as part of the naturalization process. The 2025 test includes 128 official civics questions covering American government, history, and integrated civics. During your interview, a USCIS officer will ask you up to 20 questions, and you must answer at least 12 correctly to pass.
